The Company FM-Plast positions itself as an established supplier on the market of plastic caps and closures for many years. To meet the quality requirements that have risen considerably over the last years. FM-Plast has already decided to introduce the CAQ-Software QSys from ib seteq in 2005. This tool helps to evaluate and assure the quality of the products.

The Company installed the latest update versions last in the year 2017. They refer to the inspection planning, the statistical process control with interfaces provided for a special measuring technique, the complaint management, the test equipment and resource management and the test equipment calibration. The QSys-Software distinguishes itself by the stable and long-lasting functioning, emphasizes Mister Lütticke as the Quality Manager and Prokurist (Attorney-in-fact) of FM-Plast (www.fm-plast.de).

Order-related Management of Test Equipment

The QSys® PBV contains all functions that are necessary for an efficient management of test equipment and resources. This implies the clear and fast management of small to large data volumes.

PBV-Auftrag-AktionThe functionality has been supplemented by collective outputs and returns. Thus, optional amounts of test equipment can be allotted to an order, a production order, a commission or a packing list. If the status of the test equipment is set to released, then a click initiates the output for application. Supported locations are internal departments, working areas, external plant sections or outside companies. Delivery notes are issued for dispatch. A detailed history is maintained for all orders and allotted test equipment.

PBV-Auftrag-Verzeichnis

The collective return and/or the return of only a single test equipment is implemented. The search function supports the subsequent investigation of all contents to all production orders, commissions. The automatic email-transmission for claims and reminders supports the monitoring dates.

QSys - Schnittstellen zu PPS-/ERP-Systemen

Wie kann der Mehrwert eines CAQ-Systems in klein- und mittelständischen Unternehmen erhöht werden? Was zeichnet den Mehrwert eines CAQ-Systems heutzutage aus?

Eine Antwort sind Schnittstellen zu PPS-/ERP-Systemen. Bereits im PPS-/ERP-System erfasste Daten werden im CAQ-System ebenfalls verwendet. Die Vorteile sind offensichtlich:

  •  Einmalige Erfassung systemrelevanter Daten
  •  Gültigkeit der Daten ist systemübergreifend
  •  Aktualisierung erfolgt an einer zentralen Stelle
  •  Zyklische Aktualisierungen garantieren immer aktuelle Daten in beiden Systemen

Welche Daten betrifft dieses?

Fertigungsorganisatorische Daten werden in das CAQ-System importiert. Beispielhaft sind Waren­eingangsbuchungen, Lieferschein-Nummer, Liefermenge, Lieferzeitpunkt, Artikel, Chargen-Nummer, Lieferant, Fertigungsauftrag, … zu nennen. Ergebnisdaten entstehen und werden in das PPS-/ERP-System exportiert.

Welche Daten werden z.B. zurück übertragen?

Die technische Seite der Kopplung zweier Systeme ist vor der Einführung unbedingt abzustimmen. Dafür stehen auf beiden Seiten die jeweiligen IT-Abteilungen zur Verfügung. Wie erfolgt der Datenaustausch? Praktizierte Möglichkeiten sind der Austausch über Textdateien, Datenbankzugriffe per ODBC und direktes Lesen/Schreiben auf Datenbanktabellen.

QSys®-Installationen verfügen derzeit über Schnittstellen zu ca. 20 PPS-/ERP-Systemen. Durch unterschiedliche Kundenaufgabenstellungen und den modularen Aufbau des CAQ-Systems QSys® sind unterschiedliche Ausbaustufen realisiert.

QSys AMM - Audit and Corrective Action Management, a new Qsys product

The QSys® products have been supplemented by a new product. This software for the first time makes available new functions to the prospective customer, which support management tasks arising especially during the administration of audits.

On the occasion of the trade fair CONTROL 2013, the new product QSys® AMM was introduced for the first time. The QSys® AMM supplements the range of functions in the quality management product group QSys® QM. It offers functions which serve to prepare, execute and trace audits and measures.

The leading person for every operation is an auditor. Each operation is defined according to error detection, cause, measures with responsibilities, deadlines and status. Deadline management supplies an overview of pending operations with priority. Feedback in respect of operations is recorded including data on originator and time and leads to an update of the operation status. The distribution of measures to the persons in charge is supported by the dispatch of e-mails. Optionally, already available audit reports can be imported in the Excel file format. Pending operations are listed according to date, status, structure at departmental level and auditor. Statistical evaluations convey a global view of pending operations.

QSys AMM - Audit- und Maßnahmenmanagement, ein neues QSys-Produkt

Die QSys®-Produkte wurden um ein neues Produkt ergänzt. Damit werden dem Interessenten erstmalig neue Funktionen zur Verfügung gestellt, welche Managementaufgaben speziell bei der Verwaltung von Audits unterstützen.

Anlässlich der Messe CONTROL 2013 wurde das neue Produkt QSys® AMM erstmals vorgestellt. Die QSys® AMM ergänzt das Funktionsspektrum in der Produktgruppe für das Qualitätsmanagements QSys® QM. Es bildet Funktionen ab, welche der Vorbereitung, Durchführung und Verfolgung von Audits und Maßnahmen dienen.

Die führende Person zu jedem Vorgang ist ein Auditor. Jeder Vorgang wird nach Feststellung, Ursache, Maßnahmen mit Verantwortlichkeiten, Terminen und Status definiert. Die Terminverwaltung liefert einen Überblick zu anhängigen Vorgängen mit Dringlichkeit. Rückmeldungen zu Vorgängen werden mit Bearbeiter, Zeitpunkt erfasst und führen zur Aktualisierung des Vorgangs-Status. Die Verteilung von Maßnahmen an die Bearbeiter wird durch den Versand von Mails unterstützt. Optional können vorhandene Auditberichte im Excel-Dateiformat importiert werden. Die Listung anhängiger Vorgänge erfolgt nach Termin, Status, nach Struktur auf Abteilungsebene und nach Auditor. Statistische Auswertungen vermitteln eine globale Sicht zu anhängigen Vorgängen.

CONTROL 2013 - Leading international trade fair for quality assurance

Visit us at the CONTROL 2013 in Stuttgart. Already for the 27th time, the leading international trade fair for quality assurance offers a world-wide unique range and trend-setting accompanying events.

At its stand at the trade fair, the company ib seteq will be presenting enhancements of its QSys products, of which the following deserve special mention: QSys WE for incoming inspection/supplier evaluation which contains new interfaces to PPS/ERP systems; QSys SPC for statistical process control which offers new functions in respect of product comprehensive analyses and distribution tests. The range of functions of QSys FMEA for failure mode and effects analysis has been extended, while QSys PBV for measurement system/equipment management exhibits predominantly extensions to all search functions. A complete new development to be introduced is the product QSys AMM for audit and corrective action management.

Automatic stamping of drawings for faultless, time and cost-optimised inspection planning

The functions of QSys® PPA for inspection planning and inspection order management are supplemented by the interface to the product infra Convert by ELIAS GmbH. The objective is to incorporate all drawing dimensions for new articles as criteria of inspection planning. This process is also called stamping. The CAD file formats dxf, dwg and iges comprise information that makes it possible to automatically draw up a list of all drawing criteria including reference value, limit values .... This list forms the basis for inspection planning in the PPA. Each criterion is additionally allocated an enlarged picture view of the criterion. The PPA can be subsequently supplemented with additional information, among others with regard to measurement equipment, procedures, warning and action limits.

This interface is implemented in the products for incoming goods inspection, initial sampling and statistical process control. The product information of the PPA is available for further information. The following is an example of a stamped drawing.
